What does the Stripe integration do in Wendesk?
Wendesk sends Stripe payment links via WhatsApp conversations, logs transaction events to CRM contacts, and tracks subscription renewals — all without exposing card data to your servers.
Which currencies does Stripe support via Wendesk?
Stripe supports USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SGD, and all major international currencies. Indian rupee (INR) is not yet supported by Stripe for domestic Indian tenants; use Razorpay for INR.
Is Stripe PCI-DSS compliant?
Yes. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. Card data is tokenised on Stripe's servers and never passes through Wendesk's infrastructure.
Can I use Stripe for marketplace payouts?
Stripe Connect is supported for marketplace tenants needing split payments or vendor payouts. This requires a Stripe Connect account and is available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
When will Stripe be fully live on Wendesk?
Stripe is scheduled for Sprint 9.0 (international expansion phase). During the current trial era, the integration code is present but payment capture is not yet active for Indian tenants.
Can I handle refunds through Wendesk with Stripe?
Stripe refund webhooks are wired into Wendesk. When a refund is issued in Stripe, the corresponding CRM record and invoice are automatically updated.
